More and more, research tells us that to prevent or recover from injury or illness the whole body and mind needs to be in balance, the best results often being through a multi-faceted approach. Clinical Yoga integrates traditional Physiotherapy techniques (both hands-on and hands-off treatments) with Yoga (usually movement, breath work, meditation, energy work) and Mindfulness Based Practices resulting in a more holistic way to get physically and mentally back in balance; helping you to recover better, feel stronger, have more confidence, and be more present in life.
Clinical Yoga for Wellbeing and Rehabilitation
In these sessions, firstly, I listen, then we create an individualised plan for recovery/improved wellbeing. Suitable for any condition you might usually see a Physio for, but particularly recommended for boosting recovery after illness; ongoing issues such as persistent pain; or where stress/anxiety/depression may have a role in the physical experience of pain/tightness/discomfort.
